Spring Clean-Up

During the month of April, we will be scheduling spring clean-ups to prepare our clients properties for the upcoming growing season.

Spring clean-up includes cleaning of all garden beds, and removal of any  leaves, debris, and dead foliage from the previous season. We then hard  edge all applicable edges, and blow the entire lawn and property.

Our Clean-Up will always be curated to your specific needs and expectations.

De-Thatching/Power Raking

Typically performed during early Spring, De-Thatching involves removing the layer of dead grass, leaves, and other debris that accumulates on top of the soil over time.

  1. Allows better access to the soil, which can help the grass roots absorb nutrients more effectively.
  2. Improves water penetration into the soil, as well as air circulation around the grass roots, which can help prevent fungal diseases.
  3. A better looking lawn, with more vibrant and evenly-colored grass.
  4. Can help reduce pest problems by removing hiding places, and food sources for insects.

De-Thatching is extremely vital in the overall health and appearance of your lawn.

Lawn Aeration

Lawn Aeration

Aeration is the process of perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water, and nutrients to penetrate deep into the grassroots of the lawn.

  1. Improves the circulation of oxygen in the soil, which is essential for grass root development.
  2. Helps to alleviate soil compaction, by creating space for water to be absorbed into the soil.
  3. When lawn fertilizer is applied after aeration, it is able to penetrate deep into the soil where the grassroots can easily access the nutrients.
  4. Enhance the overall health of your lawn, making it more resilient to diseases, pests, and other stressors.

Typically performed once a year, in either Spring or Fall.

Over-Seeding

Fertilizing Program

Lawn Aeration

Over-Seeding is the process of spreading grass seed over an existing lawn to fill in thin or bare areas.

  1. A dense lawn created through over-seeding can help to suppress the growth of weeds, as there are fewer open areas for weeds to take hold.
  2. By introducing various species of grass seed into the lawn, it becomes more resilient, and better able to withstand foot traffic, disease, drought, and other environmental stresses.

Performed in conjunction with De-Thatching or Aeration for a greater result and germination success.
